About the Role

The Program Manager is responsible for leading the strategic growth, operational performance, and commercial success of the ALM Automation Program across Europe & Caspian. This role provides leadership to a team of Project Managers while working closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Line Management, and Aftermarket Operations to deliver innovative service solutions, improve customer outcomes, and drive business growth. As the primary customer-facing leader for ALM contracts, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring service excellence, driving commercial and technical initiatives, and supporting the continued expansion and profitability of the ALM business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers to ensure successful project execution and service delivery.

• Manage department resources, budgets, operating profit performance, and overall business results.

• Serve as the primary customer-facing leader for ALM Program contracts, building strong relationships with drilling contractors and operators.

• Lead customer Steering Committee meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), providing operational and commercial performance updates.

• Oversee ALM/SLM contract deliverables, fleet software alignment, automation system upgrades, and performance monitoring initiatives.

• Drive the growth and strategic development of the ALM Automation Program across Europe & Caspian.

• Develop commercial and pricing strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share.

• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Line Management, and Aftermarket teams to support business objectives and service growth.

• Lead workforce planning, competency development, and training initiatives for assigned personnel.

• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

• 3+ years of experience in rig operations, preferably topside drilling operations.

• 5+ years of experience in a technical or operational management role, including management of multidisciplinary teams and project management functions.

• 3+ years of P&L accountability with strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budget management experience.

• Strong understanding of business development, pricing strategies, and commercial model development.

• Understanding of financial planning, marketing strategy, and performance monitoring technologies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Desirable

• PMP certification.

• Experience with operational reporting and performance analysis tools such as Tracker, PIMS, and OMEGA.

• Knowledge of document management systems including RigOffice and Team Center.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Broad knowledge of NOV Rig Systems products across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and controls disciplines.

• Familiarity with NOV Aftermarket quotation tools such as Compass and Tracker 2.
