This position supports a multi-year, federally funded initiative focused on strengthening rural healthcare systems in Maine through Electronic Medical Records (EMR) modernization. This role will lead the administration of approximately $30 million in EMR modernization funding, supporting more than 70 rural healthcare organizations statewide.

Help healthcare organizations successfully implement next-generation electronic medical records. This role combines project management, technical assistance, and provider engagement to support successful EMR modernization throughout rural Maine.
Program Manager - EMR Modernization
Grade Level: 6
Anticipated Salary: $103,000 - $112,000 annually
Serves as the primary technical liaison supporting healthcare organizations through planning, implementation, project management, and adoption of EMR modernization initiatives.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5–7 years of healthcare IT experience
EMR implementation experience
Project management experience
Knowledge of interoperability preferred
