Build your clean energy career in one of the largest demand response teams in the country! Con Edisons demand response team is hiring a Program Manager. The team manages dispatchable distributed energy resources (including curtailment and generation) that are located at customer facilities to reduce the demand on the electric grid on the hottest days of the year. ConEdison has several demand response programs: Commercial System Relief Program, Distribution Load Relief Program, Term-DLM, Auto-DLM, Bring Your Own Thermostat, and Bring Your Own Battery.
The Program Manager will provide operational oversight during the demand response performance period, ensuring the reliable execution of the Companys demand response programs. This includes coordinating operational readiness, supporting event execution, developing processes and procedures, and working closely with Managers responsible for Strategy and the Direct Load Control programs to ensure program objectives, timelines, and performance requirements are met.
The Program Manager will also be responsible for the delivery of the Demand Response Management Systems (DRMS) functionality required to support program operations. This includes gathering requirements, developing specifications, managing the vendor responsible for software development and system integration, performing system testing, and managing project scope and budget.
This is a great role to demonstrate your ability to drive results, apply cross-disciplinary skills to the clean energy space, and gain firsthand experience with the clean energy transition.
