Job Description

Location: Remote, must reside and be authorized to work in either the USA or Canada

Position Type: Contract-to-hire (targeting conversion within 12 months).

Compensation: This role offer $52-$60/hour during the contract phase, with a planned transition to a full-time salary of $90,000 -$120,000 annually

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The ideal candidate has noteworthy experience in the following areas:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Program Management, PMO, Project Management or related delivery roles.
  • 2-3+ years managing cross-functional business and technology programs.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as CRM, ServiceNow, Customer Experience, Customer Data, ERP, MDM (Master Data Management), or workflow automation solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience working with third parties and managed service providers.
  • Experience supporting governance processes, program reporting and stakeholder engagements
  • Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams and business functional delivery teams.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives.
  • SAFe, PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification.
  • Experience working within complex global organizations.

THE POSITION

The Program Manager manages delivery across multiple teams and projects, coordinating teams and stakeholders across the organization. This role is accountable for the successful delivery of global initiatives. The role is responsible for the following results:

Program Strategy & Alignment

  • Support development and execution or program plan aligned to organizational goals and technology roadmaps.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to coordinate and sequence deliverables that maximize business value.
  • Maintain roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Monitor alignment program priorities and budget commitments.

Program Governance & Delivery Leadership

  • Support governance process and reporting requirements.
  • Drive disciplined execution of program through standardized methodologies and delivery practices (agile, waterfall, and hybrid).
  • Prepare materials and facilitate program status meetings and stakeholder reviews.
  • Escalate risks, issues and decisions through appropriate governance channels.
  • Manage dependencies across multiple projects teams, vendors, and business areas.

Leadership

  • Manage medium to large cross-functional initiatives supporting business transformation objectives.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Support adoption of new technologies and business process changes.

Resource & Capacity Management

  • Assess program resource requirements and collaborate with leadership to secure necessary staffing and funding.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external partners, and vendor resources.
  • Promote effective workforce planning and capacity management within and across teams and programs.

Financial Management & Value Realization

  • Track program budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Monitor program costs, benefits, risks, and return on investment.
  • Provide regular reporting, program progress and financial performance

Risk, Dependency & Issue Management

  • Proactively identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and impediments.
  • Establish mitigation plans and escalation paths.
  • Facilitate resolution of cross-functional issues that impact delivery.
  • Ensure transparency of risks and opportunities through governance channels.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Build productive relationships with technology and business stakeholders.
  • Communicate program milestones risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
  • Support change management strategies that support adoption and business readiness.
  • Translate technical concepts into business language and business objectives into actionable delivery plans.

EDUCATION

The preferred candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. ; or five plus years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
