At Westpac, we're transforming how technology is delivered across the Group. We're looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead a critical stream within our Quality Engineering Platform (QEP) and Enterprise Testing Uplift initiatives.

This is a high-impact role for a seasoned technology leader who thrives in complex enterprise environments and has a proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programs across testing, engineering, platforms, DevOps and technology enablement.

What will you be doing …

  • Lead the delivery and ongoing evolution of the Quality Engineering Platform (QEP) across the enterprise.
  • Drive large-scale technology initiatives involving test tooling, test automation, AI-enabled testing and engineering platforms.
  • Manage program scope, dependencies, risks, budgets, governance and executive reporting.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Operations and Transformation teams.
  • Ensure solutions are embedded effectively across the organisation and aligned to enterprise delivery standards.
  • Build strong delivery momentum while balancing speed, quality, risk and customer outcomes. [

Must-have experience

  • Deep program management experience within enterprise testing, quality engineering, DevOps, platform engineering or transformation programs.
  • Relevant program management certifications (PMI, AIPM or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated success leading large, complex technology programs in enterprise environments.
  • Extensive program management experience delivering technology transformation at scale.
  • Strong experience operating within large corporate or highly regulated organisations.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex delivery landscapes.
  • Strong governance, risk management, financial management and planning capability.
  • Experience across technology platforms, engineering, data, APIs, infrastructure and modern delivery practices.
  • Financial Services or Banking experience.
