JOB POSITION

  • Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a Senior Business Analyst II.
  • This role will support Carelon’s external innovation ecosystem by building and managing external partnerships across startups, academia, and industry bodies.
  • This role will act as a bridge between business priorities and emerging external capabilities – identifying startups, curating use cases to create impact.
  • With academia, this role will identify new academia partners and support existing partnership between Carelon and such academia institutions, including hackathon, research opportunities aligned to business priorities.
  • This role will also be responsible for formalizing agreements towards various partnerships, maintaining and managing startups, and academia, including data for weekly and monthly reports; developing and executing of new partnership strategies/ programs aligned with organizational goals

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Ecosystem & Partnership Management:

  • Build and manage strong external partnership across startups, academia and industry bodies
  • Identify partners/ startups aligned with Carelon’s strategic priorities in healthcare

Use case discovery & curation:

  • Curate and match startups to business priorities/ use cases
  • Understand internal eco-system to drive external partnerships

Program Design & Execution:

  • Manage and execute monthly Ignite platform
  • Design new initiatives/ programs to enable culture of Innovation

Strategy & leadership Engagement:

  • Support in creating / developing high quality strategy decks/ leadership presentations and insights

Data & Reports:

  • Maintain startup and Academia engagement data including use cases/ status
  • Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly reports

Culture:

  • Support in driving a culture of innovation
  • Conduct internal awareness sessions, demo days, and showcase
  • Be a team player

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field + Management Graduate

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in Innovation Partnerships & collaborations
  • Working with startups and academia on a few projects
  • Experience in managing external innovation partners
  • Experience in handling Innovation, Innovation Management, and eco-system;
  • Hands-on technical experience to curate tech use cases.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare technology trends and their impact on business.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of working with startups and/ or academic institutions is a plus.
  • Proficiency in storytelling, document preparation, and content creation.

PROFESSIONAL EXPEREINCE

  • 18–20 years of experience in large multinational corporations and/or leading IT services firms, with a proven track record of leading change and programs including Technology, Operations, Corporate Functions at scale.
  • 8–10 years of hands-on expertise in change & program management reporting and delivering impactful outcomes.
  • Good knowledge of Healthcare or BFSI domain.
  • Certification in relevant process areas of change and program management.
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional and technology teams to deliver integrated and business-aligned solutions.
  • Experienced in engaging with senior leadership and executive stakeholders to influence strategic direction and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into process or technology-enabled solutions.
  • Wide experience in technology platforms and tools, including functional expertise in solutions such as Org Design, Work or Workforce transformation and others.
  • Proficient in MS office and other collaboration tools.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Advanced degree or certification in technology management or a related field.
  • Experience in managing external partnerships – Startups and academia.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with healthcare delivery models, and digital health trends.
  • Experience working in or with GCCs, hospitals, or healthcare technology firms is a plus
