The Program Management Lead serves as the execution and governance anchor for large-scale, structured, compliance-heavy initiatives within our Jira/Jira Align toolchain. This role operates with agile discipline to bring predictability, integration, and enterprise-scale delivery aligned to POET standards. This role bridges structured program governance with agile execution practices to enable transparency, risk control, and enterprise-scale delivery. Furthermore, this role has a responsibility to mentor and lead a team of project managers operating within this discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor project managers and build a PM competency framework
  • Set standards for the organization on ways of working enabling waterfall projects alongside agile projects
  • Enable core set of PM’s to effectively deliver projects in Jira using our tollgate methodology
  • Be the guiding light for functional PM’s and enable a standard way of operating for the organization

Program Execution & Integration

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of programs in Jira alongside agile delivery programs
  • Integrate multiple workstreams including technology, data, change management, controls, and vendor coordination
  • Align execution to defined Product Oriented delivery standards and governance frameworks
  • Agile Discipline in Structured Environments
  • Apply scaled agile principles (incremental delivery, backlog clarity, dependency mapping) within System of Records constraints
  • Coordinate across multiple squads or delivery pods
  • Drive integrated release planning across modules
  • Balance iterative delivery with compliance requirements

Stakeholder & Dependency Management

  • Manage cross-functional dependencies across Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and vendor organizations
  • Orchestrate steering committees and governance forums
  • Align program outcomes to financial and operational commitments
  • Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders

Change & Readiness Enablement

  • Ensure operational readiness for go-live events
  • Align with business process owners and change management teams
  • Drive adoption readiness while maintaining clear accountability boundaries

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 10+ years of program delivery experience in complex enterprise environments
  • Proven track record delivering large programs in Jira
  • Demonstrated success in multi-workstream integration

Technical Capabilities

  • Skilled in Jira and Jira Align
  • Advanced risk management and mitigation skills
  • Budget control and financial management
  • Vendor management experience
  • Strong backlog and dependency management capabilities
  • Experience with iterative releases inside structured programs

Leadership & Behavioral Competencies

  • Executive-level stakeholder communication skills
  • Financial acumen and business understanding
  • Ability to operate effectively in matrix environments
  • Strategic thinking with tactical execution capability
  • Comfort managing ambiguity while maintaining control
