Position Summary
Organization: Global Santa Fe
Location: 413 Grant Ave Ste. D Santa Fe, NM 87501
An Off-Campus Work-Study Organization - MUST have a Work-Study Award
As an
intern assisting the IVLP program at Global Santa Fe, one’s responsibilities
primarily consist of helping to draft proposals for IVLP programs, doing
outreach and research to set up meetings with outside organizations, and
occasionally showing international visitors to and from their meetings. The
intern would not be expected to personally transport any visitors, as transport
is provided by a logistics company. The outreach and research portion mostly
consists of finding suitable organizations that are aligned with the goals of a
specific IVLP program, and then communicating via phone or email to set up a
suitable meeting. Part of the internship includes weekly meetings with the
manager of Global Santa Fe’s IVLP program to update them on the work that has
been done, as well as receive new tasks to complete for the following week.
