Job Description

The Program Group Facilitator provides support to other program staff by planning and co-facilitating peer support group sessions to program participants. Sessions are planned by using specified curriculum and facilitated using proven practices.

Day in the life: In a typical day, a Program Group Facilitator can expect to...

  • Group Facilitation: Facilitates the group process on a weekly basis using group facilitation practices to promote knowledge gains in curriculum topic area, peer learning, and peer support.

Job Pay & Perks:

  • Pay range: $22.82 - $31.39/hr.
  • This is a scheduled-hybrid role whose essential functions require work to be conducted at a physical location, which may include a GESMN or partner facility, at least two (2) days per week. The remaining days can be worked from the employee’s home office or a designated community setting as directed by the manager.

About You:

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to speak in a public setting
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Effective time management
  • Proven ability to interaction with a diverse group of individuals with varying backgrounds
    • Experience providing workforce development services
    • Group facilitation experience

Prior Experience & Education:

  • 1-3 Years of relevant program experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
