Co-Hive is looking for Program Facilitators on a part-time basis to join our team, delivering the hands-on, experiential learning at the heart of our impact for young adults aged 17–35 living with mild disability and neurodivergence and low support needs.
Through our industry-based employment pathways and independence programs, you'll develop and facilitate structured, strengths-based learning that puts self-determination first - not doing things for participants, but building their capacity to make their own choices and shape their own path forward, whether that's open employment, further study, greater independence, or genuine friendship and belonging.
Working alongside a small, collaborative team, you'll bring curriculum to life, and connect learning to real-world pathways through relationships with participants, education and employer partners, and community organisations. You’ll help scale Co-Hive's impact to more participants and hubs as we grow.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
You'll do genuinely meaningful work, educating participants to build confidence and independence in real time. It's a hands-on, collaborative team and a high-energy environment where every day looks a little different. We’re small but growing, so you’ll see first hand the impact you make.
Our programs are detailed under “Programs and Services” on our website.
Hours: Facilitators are required to be onsite at a Co-Hive hub to facilitate programs between 9am and 3pm, with availability needed outside these face-to-face hours for planning and non-face-to-face work.
Days: We have part time vacancies available for 2 to 4 days (Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday) for Term 4. Please indicate in your application which working days you prefer and which of our programs you feel skilled and confident to facilitate.
Location: Current vacancies are based at our Alexandria hub, but we'd also love to hear from facilitators based on, or interested in working from, the North Shore as we look to open new hubs in 2027.

Co-Hive is a Sydney-based “for purpose” organisation empowering young adults aged 17–35 with disability, neurodiversity, and low support needs to achieve award-wage open employment, build independence and advocacy, and develop strong social connections. Founded by an experienced leader in special education, Co-Hive exists because too many young adults with disability were leaving school without a genuine pathway into employment, further study, or community life.
In just two years, we've grown to two hubs, 140+ participants each week, and national recognition including Best New Disability Business in Australia (2024). More importantly, we've built something rare and deeply needed: a genuine community - one where Facilitators are in a front-row seat watching the young adults they teach walking into jobs, courses, and friendships that didn't exist for them before.
