Job Description

Find your passion in helping others as a Program Facilitator with the Adult Partial Hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient Programs. In this role, you are responsible for increasing patient awareness and abilities in the area of living skills and recreation activities by providing education and information on an individual or group basis. You will be a member of the interdisciplinary team responsible for planning and implementing a variety of therapeutic programming (education and/or activities) to adult patients with mental health and/or chemical dependency issues.

Responsibilities of a Program Facilitator:

  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment.
  • Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and other clinical staff to support patient’s individual treatment goals.
  • Support daily routines, including transitions, meals/snacks, and breaks.
  • Responsible for planning and facilitating social skills groups.
  • Assist in crisis de-escalation as needed.

Schedule

  • Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks
  • Monday - Friday | 7:30 am - 4:00 pm | No weekends or major holidays
  • On-site | CentraCare Plaza | Adult Partial Hospitalization & Intensive Outpatient Program

Pay and Benefits

  • Starting pay begins at $21.54 per hour and increases with experience
    • Pay range: $21.54 - $32.31 per hour

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a human services field or a minimum of two years of related experience assisting in facilitation of running groups, programs and material design is required.
  • Skills and knowledge in the provision of therapeutic education and activities
  • Knowledge of medical and psychiatric diagnosis and the associated symptoms
  • Ability to teach a variety of education and creative activities
  • Workplace violence training, initial and on-going will be provided and required.
