Central Maine Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician to serve as Program Director for our ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program in Lewiston, Maine.

Position Details

  • Hospital-employed leadership position at Central Maine Medical Center.
  • Program Director role overseeing the ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
  • Family Medicine (Board Certified required).
  • Responsible for curriculum development and oversight of residency education across inpatient, outpatient, obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics, and community medicine.
  • Ensure compliance with ACGME Institutional and Family Medicine Program Requirements.
  • Lead accreditation readiness and continuous program improvement initiatives.
  • Chair the Program Evaluation Committee (PEC) and Clinical Competency Committee (CCC).
  • Recruit, mentor, and evaluate core faculty while leading resident recruitment and professional development.
  • Maintain an active clinical practice while supervising residents in clinical settings.
  • Eligible for Maine medical licensure required.
