Job Description

Job Expectations

We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a Program Director ERP reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer. This is a rare opportunity to lead one of nbn’s significant enterprise initiatives, overseeing the Finance ERP transformation that will modernise critical business capabilities and support nbn’s long-term strategy.

A bit about your role

As Program Director ERP, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of a major Finance ERP transformation program, ensuring outcomes are achieved effectively and in line with agreed performance, budget and transformation objectives. In this role, you will work across Finance, Technology and the broader enterprise, bringing people together around a shared vision, fostering strong partnerships and creating alignment across a diverse stakeholder landscape.

You will lead and establish a high-performing program team, provide clear strategic direction and create an environment where collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement can thrive. With responsibility for program governance, commercial discipline and risk management, you will ensure the program remains focused on delivering meaningful business outcomes while navigating the complexities that come with large-scale organisational change.

This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on how nbn operates, helping to strengthen the systems, processes and capabilities that support the organisation’s future.

A bit about you

You are an experienced program leader with a proven track record delivering large-scale ERP transformations within complex enterprise environments. You bring deep expertise in program delivery together with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, enabling you to build trust, influence at executive level and guide organisations through significant change. Experience leading enterprise ERP implementations is essential, while exposure to Oracle and cloud-based ERP platforms and modern technologies such as AI-enabled automation will be highly regarded.

You are known for balancing strategic thinking with disciplined execution and bring a strong understanding of governance, risk management and commercial outcomes. You remain calm and solutions-focused when navigating complexity, drawing on your experience to anticipate challenges, make thoughtful decisions and keep large programs moving forward.

Most importantly, you are a collaborative and inclusive leader who values different perspectives and knows how to bring people on the journey.
