Job Description

US Advisors is seeking a Program Director to provide leadership and oversight for unaccompanied children through Home Study (HS) and post-release services (PRS). In this role, you will oversee all program operations and be responsible for initiatives that help ensure child safety, well-being, and the stability of children who face reunification challenges and community integration. As the Program Director, you will also be responsible for measuring the achievement of and reporting on key program metrics and other required contractual deliverables while managing a high-performing team that is tasked with finding solutions and resources for vulnerable unaccompanied children in care. The ideal candidate will be efficient, detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong strategic vision with exceptional interpersonal and operational management skills.

Responsibilities:Oversee strategic planning, multi-state program implementation, staff management, and administration of the overall operation.In collaboration with the leadership team, develop program functions and reporting responsibilities.Provide on-going program evaluation and assess recommendations from supervisors that strategically align with program objectives, growth, and quality standards.Ensure that supervisors set attainable program goals and objectives for their work.Connect and communicate with ORR officials and required partners for service delivery implementation, consultation, and quality assurance reporting.Drive and oversee program accountability.Monitor and ensure ORR compliance for operations including; contractual fidelity, local and federal laws and regulations governing operations, and fiscal/auditory compliance.Coordinate programmatic and financial elements. Create and submit required reports detailing outcomes, deliverables, financials, and compliance measures. Supervise and support program staff, fostering a trauma-informed, mission-driven culture.

Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent (education, psychology, sociology, or behavioral science), 5+ years experience in child welfare administration or child protective services (CPS) and 2 years of program management or director-level experience.Experience in the following: Advanced financial and supervisory project management.Local community social services. Home study, post-release services, or both. Working with immigrant populations. Family preservation, kinship care, and child welfare. Professional assessment report writing. Child welfare and case management.

Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in social work or equivalent (education, psychology, sociology, or behavioral science) +2 years of program management or director-level experience.Work Schedule:Typically Monday-Fridays normal business hours; however as an exempt employee, duties and schedules may shift as project needs arise.
