To establish and implement outcome orientated employment strategies that maximize an individual’s readiness for community-based employment. Work in conjunction with various funding agencies and RTR internal team to promote work readiness. Assist the department with job procurement, program development, scheduling and coverage as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Oversee the Job Placement department. (Assigning coverage as needed).
- Coordinates the intake of all DDS/MRC/EEP/CBES/School referrals and determine appropriateness for evaluation or placement.
- Works with Career Specialists on scheduling and coordinating referrals and follow up with active cases.
- Supervision of all department staff including staff meetings, monthly supervision meetings, annual evaluations, and tracking mandated training needs.
- Work with Career Specialists to ensure opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in vocational evaluations.
- Work with RTR team members to focus on obtaining outcome based goals while expanding contacts and business with MRC, DDS and local school systems.
- Track placement referrals and purchase orders, increase business contacts, and assist with interviews and job coaching as needed.
- Responsible for completing all monthly/quarterly/annual reports in accordance with MRC, DDS, and EEP guidelines.
- Attend all mandatory MRC/EEP meetings with prepared data and budget information
- Submit department payroll.
- Submit department individual monthly attendance and billing.
- Work with Vice President of Day Services and the finance office to meet and expand income/revenue goals.
- Participate in on-the-job training and provide coaching to new co-workers as directed.
- Adhere to agency safety protocols.
- Perform additional duties, or substitute for others as required.
- Adhere to all RTR policies and procedures.
- Develop and provide all services in accordance with RTR’s philosophies including staff and Board beliefs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree; or two years experience in vocational rehabilitation and/or job coaching.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
- Need to be flexible with schedule.
- Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings.
- Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be fluent in English and have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals under supervision, employees of the organization, families, and members of the community.
