The EMS Program Director is a full-time faculty member responsible for leading and managing the Emergency Medical Services programs. This role oversees the curriculum, ensures program quality, and monitors student academic and clinical progress. The director manages program resources, including budget, equipment, and lab safety, and collaborates with faculty, clinical partners, and community stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of B.S. Degree granted by an agency recognized by the US DOE is required with master’s degree or higher preferred.
Experience in prehospital emergency care – minimum of three (3) years.
Documented education or experience in instructional methodology.
Prior administration experience to include a minimum of two (2) years in EMS educational administration.
Current licensure in TN as a paramedic with endorsement as program director or ability to obtain TN licensure and/or endorsement prior to employment. Licensure must be free from history of revocation, denial, or suspension.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the National EMS Scope of Practice and National EMS Standards.
Current endorsement in a TN EMS Board approved trauma, cardiac, and pediatric course at the provider level.
Current CPR for HealthCare Providers.
