KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Leadership, Delivery & Coordination
- Provide overall leadership and direction for project implementation across all sectors and geographic areas.
- Ensure achievement of project outcomes (Ultimate, Intermediate, Immediate) in alignment with approved design and donor expectations.
- Oversee integrated planning, including annual work plans, detailed implementation plans, and budget alignment.
- Lead coordination across Senior Program Manager, Senior Technical Manager, Senior MEAL Manager, and support functions to ensure seamless delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong project management systems for planning, tracking, reporting, risk management, and internal communication.
- Ensure effective coordination and performance management of consortium partners
- Project delivers on time, on budget, and achieves expected outcomes
- Strong coordination across sectors, partners, and locations
- Integrated and efficient implementation systems in place
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Directly supervise senior leadership team, including Senior Program Manager, Senior Technical Manager, Senior MEAL Manager, and key operational functions.
- Build and maintain a high-performing, accountable, and motivated team.
- Ensure clear roles, performance indicators, and accountability across all staff.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development in line with WV policies.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and staff well-being.

Financial Management, Compliance & Operations
- Oversee financial management of the project, ensuring expenditure is aligned with approved budgets and donor requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with donor regulations, WV policies, and audit requirements.
- Oversee procurement, supply chain, and resource management in coordination with support functions.
- Strengthen internal controls, risk mitigation, and financial accountability systems.
- Budget managed effectively with strong burn rate and forecasting

Monitoring, Reporting, Learning & Accountability
- Ensure strong project monitoring systems are in place to track progress against indicators and milestones.
- Oversee timely and high-quality reporting (technical and financial) to donors and internal stakeholders.
- Promote use of data for decision-making and adaptive management.
- Ensure documentation of lessons learned, best practices, and success stories.
- Strengthen accountability systems, including feedback and complaint mechanisms.

Stakeholder Engagement & Representation
- Represent World Vision in engagement with donors, government, coordination platforms, and key stakeholders.
- Maintain strong communication with donor, support office, and consortium partners.

Risk Management, Security & Adaptive Leadership
- Identify and manage program risks, including operational, financial, and contextual risks.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in international development, Public Health, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in program/grant management
- Proven experience managing large, multi-sector, multi-partner projects
- Strong experience in financial management and donor compliance, partner and consortium management, working in fragile or conflict-affected contexts
- Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams
- Experience managing complex donor-funded programs (e.g., FCDO, USAID, DFAT, UN)
- Strong understanding of sectors such as WASH, Protection, Health, Food Security, EiE, or DRR
- Excellent English (spoken and written), including report writing.
- Basic Myanmar is an advantage for engagement with staff, partners, and communities.
- Based in National Office and up to 30–40% travel to field locations
- Ability to operate effectively in insecure and remote environments
- Good health and physical ability to travel to project areas and participate in field activities.
- Experience in consortium leadership or multi-partner coordination
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in adaptive programming in fragile contexts
- Familiarity with Sphere standards and humanitarian principles
- Prior experience with World Vision is an advantage
