An amazing and growing non-profit organization is seeking a dedicated and organized Program Director to lead and manage the Girls Volunteer Division.
This role is responsible for overseeing volunteer programming, coordinating activities, and ensuring the smooth operation and growth of the division. The ideal candidate is passionate about community impact, highly organized, and able to build strong relationships with volunteers, staff, and program participants. Yiddish fluency is required. This is a full-time hybrid position, and flexible availability in the evenings and on weekends is required as programs and events take place outside standard business hours.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all operations of the Girls Volunteer Division, including program planning and implementation.
Recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers while fostering a positive and engaging volunteer experience.
Develop and maintain relationships with partner organizations, schools, and community members.
Track program participation, manage schedules, and ensure programs run smoothly and effectively.
Skills:
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide volunteers.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple programs simultaneously.
Requirements:
Fluent Yiddish speaker (required).
Prior experience in program management, volunteer coordination, or nonprofit work preferred.
Ability to work full-time in a hybrid role (combination of in-office and remote).
Flexible availability for evening and weekend programs and events.
Passion for community service and youth engagement.
