The Program Director is responsible for the delivery of services, development, and maintenance of all operations of the Portis Family Home. The Program Director is responsible for managing and ensuring safe and smooth program operations, and for the training, on-boarding and supervision of assigned direct care staff at Portis Family Home. This involves supervision of the Resident Assistants, Case Managers and Family Services Coordinator, as well as ensuring a therapeutic and trauma- informed milieu, training staff, running groups and managing staff schedules. The Program Director reports to the Deputy Director of Housing for support and supervision.
Location: Portis Family Home is a residential program in Jamaica Plain, for families struggling with homelessness and substance use, who may also face multiple barriers to housing. Our program helps families increase self-sufficiency, strengthen their recovery, gain knowledge around healthy relationships and other valuable life skills, search for more permanent housing, build parenting skills and build job-readiness skills.

These figures adjust based on full time or part time status and allocated vacation time increases with length of employment.
