Program Development Manager

The Therapy Development Manager is responsible for leading therapy adoption and market development initiatives within Interventional Cardiology This role focuses on improving patient access, optimizing patient care pathways, and developing reference sites through collaboration with internal partners and external clinical stakeholders.

The Therapy Development Manager works cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, and field teams to build awareness, drive appropriate utilization, and expand availability of minimally invasive interventional therapies. This position supports multiple territories and is designed to be deployable across various regions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify where interventional cardiology therapies can support patient care as an adjunctive treatment option within existing clinical pathways.
  • Identify and develop key referral networks across multiple provider types involved in cardiovascular care.
  • Build and strengthen relationships through therapy awareness initiatives, routine customer engagement, product demonstrations, educational programs, procedural observation, conference participation, and issue resolution.
  • Educate physicians and allied health professionals on the clinical value and appropriate integration of interventional cardiology solutions through presentations and hands-on demonstrations.
  • Collaborate closely with territory management and clinical site partners to evaluate and optimize patient care pathways.
  • Align shared priorities across stakeholders and leverage account-level insights to develop strategic business plans that drive therapy adoption and support patient outcomes.
  • Analyze referral patterns and healthcare network dynamics to generate actionable insights, drive pull-through, and lead virtual and in-person customer engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in a healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience working with physicians and clinical stakeholders within cardiovascular or interventional care settings
  • Strong understanding of referral dynamics and care pathways within Interventional Cardiology
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience
  • Total compensation may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions
