Job Description

At Alstom, we build what millions depend on daily - rail transportation systems that can't afford to fail. We're more than 85,000 people worldwide creating the industry's most diverse portfolio: high-speed trains, metros, trams, maintenance services and integrated systems.

More Than a Job: A Mission

We are seeking a passionate Program Cybersecurity Engineer to design and develop robust, future-proof security solutions for rail systems. Join dedicated teams committed to safeguarding critical infrastructure, where your expertise will drive real-world impact and lasting legacy.

Your Role, Your Impact

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into every stage of project delivery.
  • Ensure reliability by proactively identifying vulnerabilities and implementing resilient solutions.
  • Drive innovation by researching and applying emerging cybersecurity technologies to transportation.
  • Share knowledge and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, preferably in critical infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment, threat modeling, and security architecture for industrial systems.
  • Strong understanding of rail industry standards, network protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to drive collaborative outcomes.

How Success Is Measured

  • Consistent achievement of project delivery timelines and strategic security goals.
  • Effective collaboration and leadership within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Reduction in security incidents, improved system efficiency, and robust troubleshooting.

Alstom, A Great Place to Grow

  • Work with advanced technologies and contribute to Alstom’s strategic vision for secure mobility.
  • Make a global impact from our Charleroi office, protecting millions of passengers.
  • Advance your career through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

Here, progress isn't always easy but the impact is real. Because the scale is massive, the tasks are complex when the system runs, the train moves, and the city connects that feeling stays with you. And the legacy lasts.
