THE JOB: Program Coordinator, Provincial Coaching & Accreditation

The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.

Starting Salary Range: $57,160 - $71,450

Reporting to theManager, Physician Leadership & Learning ,theProgram Coordinator, Provincial Coaching & Accreditation ,playsa central rolein the coordination and delivery of physician leadership development programs at Doctors of BC. This position serves as the primary operational contact for the Provincial Coaching Program,managingtheprogram’splatforms andsystems, includingbasictechnicalsupport, the role ensures a positive member experiencefrom recruitment throughonboarding,and contributes to the planning of skill development sessions in collaboration with the Provincial Physician Lead. TheCoordinatorworks closely with physicians and otherDoBCteamstofacilitateengagement,andcoordinate networkingandeducational opportunitiesacross the province.In addition, the roleperformskey operational components of the Physician Leadership Scholarship Program, including application assessment and end-to-end coordination of the review and appeals process, ensuringa high levelof service and communication with physician participants.

A corecomponentof this role is ensuring that allaccreditedlearning activitiesdeveloped by Doctors of BCmeet national Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation standards. TheCoordinatoroversees accreditation processes acrossthe organization,maintainscompliance documentation, andprovidesguidance tointernal teamstoensure that learning activities meetaccreditation requirements. This includesmaintainingthe internal accreditation hub, implementing quality control procedures, and coordinating external audits.With strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, theCoordinatormonitors program data,identifiestrends in leadership development, and ensuresaccuratereporting and reconciliation. Acting as a key connector across programs, this role supports continuous improvement andadvancesphysician leadership and learning initiatives across the organization.

  • Solicits internal and external customer evaluation of performance and devises measures for improvement.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • ABachelor’sdegree ora specialized post-secondary diplomain a related fieldwith up to two years of related experience, or anequivalent level of related work experience in lieu of post-secondary education.
  • Specialized knowledge in a technical or professional discipline, preferably in a health, not-for-profit, government or business sector, and an ability to apply technical/professional concepts and applications to tasks or activities.
  • Adept at balancing major concurrent tasks and projects, and working withinternal and external partiesin a coordinated manner
  • Demonstrated experience inutilizingand developing databases for tracking team activity and projects
  • Experience in marketing and communications,withabasic understanding of medical terminologyconsidered an asset
  • Proven ability to respond to a wide variety of issues and deal with ambiguity and conflicting demands
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of the team
  • Effective writing skills and proven ability to develop clear and concise communication.
  • Minute taking and transcribingexperience consideredan asset
  • DemonstratedproficiencywithMac andPC based software, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, andMicrosoft PowerPoint.
