
The Program Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and evaluation of patient education programs at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Working with clinical teams and other partners, this role helps ensure that patients and families receive clear, consistent, accessible information to support their care and decision-making.
Coordinates the development, review, approval, and maintenance of patient education materials and programs in collaboration with clinical subject matter experts.
Maintains an organized inventory of patient education resources, including review dates, content owners, and approved versions.
Supports teams in using consistent processes and standards for patient education across care settings.
Reviews materials for plain language, accessibility, and suitability for patients with varying health literacy needs; coordinate translation and interpretation needs’ through established processes.
Gathers feedback from patients, families, and staff and use it to identify opportunities to improve education resources and delivery.
Tracks program activity and measures, prepare reports, and share findings with the manager and relevant teams.
Coordinates meetings, timelines, communications, and training related to patient education initiatives.
Partners with clinical, quality, digital, and operational teams to make approved education resources available through appropriate channels.
Performs other duties related to patient education programs as required or assigned.
