NoOpening Minds through Arts (OMA) is an evidence-based, intergenerational art program designed to promote creative self-expression and meaningful engagement for older adults living with dementia. The At-Home Kits initiative extends OMA programming beyond traditional settings by providing accessible, high-quality art experiences for individuals and caregivers in home and community environments. The Temporary Program Coordinator will support the production, logistics, and overall coordination of OMA At-Home Kits, working closely with OMA staff, students, and university partners to ensure efficient and high-quality program delivery.

Duties:

  • Coordinate production and assembly of OMA At-Home Kits, including materials preparation, inventory tracking, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with OMA team members to implement program plans and budgets in alignment with university policies and procedures.
  • Support program logistics, including procurement, purchasing, and contract-related processes in accordance with university guidelines.
  • Develop and communicate program policies, procedures, timelines, and guidelines to students, faculty, and partners.
  • Supervise and coordinate student employees involved in kit production and program activities.
  • Manage day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, task tracking, and workflow coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and data related to kit production, distribution, and program activities.
  • Assist with coordination of internal and external partnerships related to program implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to university policies, safety standards, and program expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Ability to work on-site at Miami University’s Oxford campus.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to lift and move moderately heavy materials and packages.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, and ability to learn new software systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
