The Program Coordinator II – Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) position is responsible for logistics and communications regarding the City’s Youth Advisory Panel. This position will include interviewing teen volunteer candidates, scheduling YAP meetings and other YAP events, overseeing day-to-day activities, visiting local schools, and supervising teens. This position will operate out of College Hill Library and may assist with library or City duties and operations as needed.
The hours available to work in this position are dependent on programming needs with 15-20 hours per week expected during the school year, including working remotely. The full salary range for this position is stated above. The starting range of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience of each individual candidate.

Work is sedentary in nature and requires sufficient stamina and strength for:
Work is performed indoors. This is primarily sedentary office work, with the opportunity for remote work as approved. Must demonstrate ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including the ability to retrieve information from various locations in the office when needed. Exposure to periods of high activity and stress under demanding conditions. The position requires a great deal of communication with City employees, the public, and outside agencies. The position requires occasional travel to and from high schools and middle schools located throughout the City of Westminster.
This position requires the use of a laptop computer (provided by the City) and mobile phone to send text messages.
