We are looking for an organized and proactive Program Coordinator for our Adult Day Program in Long Beach, CA. This role is a working leadership position that combines program coordination with direct support. You will be actively engaged on the floor, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, while also assisting with scheduling, documentation, staff coaching, and daily program operations.
This is not a purely administrative role. The Program Coordinator plays a key part in ensuring high-quality care, modeling best practices, and stepping in to provide direct support. If you have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, strong documentation skills, and the ability to lead by example, we want to hear from you.

The Program Coordinator (PC) is the lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our Adult Day Program. This is a hands-on, working leadership role. As a PC, you will be actively supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) on the floor each day, while also helping guide staff and support overall program operations.
You will be responsible for providing direct care, hands-on instruction, and positive behavioral support to ensure the health, safety, and success of the individuals we serve. In addition to direct support, you will assist with documentation, coordination of daily programming, and maintaining compliance standards.
While this is not a formal supervisory role, the PC takes the lead in daily operations, helping ensure the program runs smoothly and staff are supported and aligned. This position reports directly to the Program Director.
