
The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Department Leader with daily department administrative functions. The Program Coordinator is required to be proactive in the development of business practices and plans that improve operations and cost effectiveness, may assist other management personnel in the department as well as be responsible for payroll and department records. Must have the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, and work collaboratively with associates, physicians, vendors, and external customers to promote a positive environment.

Required Skills and Knowledge Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required. Ability to work with little or no supervision is required. Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Database Management and all office equipment. Ability to interact with all associates, physicians, vendors, and customers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required. Hospital terminology and knowledge of patient flow is preferred.
