The Program Coordinator position at LifeScape is responsible to develop, coordinate, and monitor Individual Support Plans (ISP) for people receiving services with LifeScape. They will also advocate with, and on behalf of, the person supported in all respects, including individual choices and independence.
For this position, LifeScape is in search of an individual with excellent time management skills, in addition to knowledge of person-centered thinking tools. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a team, be flexible, and be able to think about the big picture for the individuals we support and LifeScape as a whole. The ability to be organized and have good oral/written skills would be a positive for this role.
Other roles and responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Must meet federal requirements to be Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP), by having a bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science, social science, education, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. One-year experience working with people with developmental or physical disabilities required; more than four years is preferred. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Successful completion and certification in training provided by agency within specific time allotment is required.
