
Under the direction of the Summer Camp Supervisor and FYD Managers, the FYD Program Attendant will perform a variety of duties as needed for the successful operation of The Salvation Army Kroc Center’s summer camp. This position is also required to assist with general facility maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned.

Programs & Activities
•Promote a physically and emotionally safe environment for campers.•Provide guidance and positive role modeling to campers.•Stimulate interest and positive participation in activities.•Support and assist the Youth Development Specialists & FYD leadership as needed.
Member Service
•Develop and maintain professional relationships with members and guests by providing personalattention to all participants through a proactive, welcoming approach.•Be an ambassador for the Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center by providing accurate informationand promoting the center's activities, programs, and services. Maintain progressive knowledge of allprograms and activities.
Miscellaneous
•Communicate effectively with Camden Kroc employees and customers.•Must wear standard apparel in accordance with the Salvation Army Camden Kroc and FYDDepartment policies, and always exhibit a professional appearance while on duty.•Attend required staff meetings and in-service training.•Carry out The Salvation Army mission in your actions and words during your employment. Ensurethat the ultimate goal of spiritual, emotional, and physical regeneration of all people.•Other duties within the scope of the role as assigned by supervisors.
•At least 16 years of age. Working papers required for those under 18 years old.
•Must pass a criminal background check & DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance.
•Must pass the NJ Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) Check.
•Must understand and support The Salvation Army’s mission as a church and a social servicesorganization.
