Catholic Social Services is currently seeking a Replacement Worker, Program Assistant in EDMONTON to join our Elpida North team. Providing excellent client-centered care, you are confident, thoughtful, and motivated to achieve success when supporting others in your community!
Program Overview:
You will be working in a Federal Halfway House whose primary focus is to assist the clients in making a successful transition to a responsible community life.

As a Program Assistant, you are a team player who is dedicated to the supervision, support, assessment, and counselling of men or women on parole from federal institutions.
Supporting daily living, you have the ability to develop client relationships that are based on mutual respect. You have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to write clear, precise and detailed case reports. Using you’re your good decision- making abilities, you respond to difficult client behaviour in a non-reactive manner.
You have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
What This Job Requires:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience working in the human service field
• Training and experience with corrections, addictions, and the criminal justice system or adult offenders is preferred.
• Enhanced Security Check and Child Intervention Record Check
