Job Description

The selected individual will be a member of a multidisciplinary team of analysts supporting the national security mission. Position is in support of a federal client. Specialized on-the-job training related to nuclear material accountancy and nonproliferation will be provided.

The salary range for this position is $65,000-$90,000 per year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Apply data analysis to prepare specialized reports and studies
  • Conduct research, examine assumptions, identify trends, and prepare reports.
  • Prepare briefings, presentations, and recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, accounting, law, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and report writing skills.
  • Ability to collect, review, and analyze complex sets of data.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Active DOE “Q” or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with working with Alaska Native cultures
  • Familiarity with the nuclear industry, national security, nonproliferation, and material control and accounting is preferred.

Physical Demands

Frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time, using hands/fingers requiring dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper, reaching with hands and arms for items above and below desk level, talking, hearing, and seeing (up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus); walking from place to place within the office with occasional use of stairs and no elevator available; bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for up to 2 hours; occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds such as small office equipment, files, stacks of paper, reference and other materials.

Work Environment
