Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction delivers client‑focused services that help our ministry partners and Albertans succeed. As part of Client Services Operations – Finance Operations, we are seeking a Banking Services Program Analyst to support accurate, reliable, and efficient government‑wide banking and electronic payment operations that enable ministries across the province.

You will coordinate daily banking activities, validate information, resolve operational issues, and contribute to continuous improvements that strengthen payment, reconciliation, and revenue processes across government.
Your key responsibilities include:
Reviewing and analyzing program requirements, transactions, and ministry issues.
Monitoring and supporting daily operational workflows and payment related inquiries.
Collaborating with ministries and system partners to assess impacts, resolve issues, and enhance processes.
Participating in testing and updates for new tools, procedures, or system changes.
Supporting reconciliation tasks, gathering documentation, and preparing reports.
Building relationships with ministries, Shared Services teams, and financial institutions.
Responding to ad hoc requests, payment investigations, and escalated operational matters.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4:30pm, In office ONLY. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Positions currently available: Two Temporary positions ending May 31,2026 with the possibility of extension.
Location: John E. Brownlee Building, 10365 - 97 Street, Edmonton, AB.
Final candidates will be required to undergo a security screening.
