What we want

The Program Aide for the Construction Science Department supports a research project focused on the development, validation, and evaluation of AI-enabled learning support systems in construction engineering and management. The program aide will support system development and the execution of experiments related to performance and human learning. The position involves close collaboration with the PI, graduate students, and industry partners.

Salary: $15.62/hr.

Other Details: This is a part-time temporary/casual position not to go past 4.5 months.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • MS in Data Science

  • MS candidates with an expected graduation date of May 2026 will also be considered

  • Experience with AI agent development using Large Language Models

  • Knowledge of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Computer Vision Technologies

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong data analysis skills

  • Ability to design and execute rigorous empirical studies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
