Downer is seeking an experienced Profiling Operator to join our surfacing crew based in Eastern Creek, NSW. This role is critical to supporting our road infrastructure projects through safe, efficient and high-quality operation of profiling machinery.
This is a hands-on role where you will work as part of a high-performing team, operating specialised equipment and contributing to the successful delivery of asphalt and pavement works.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate profiling machinery safely and efficiently across various projects
• Work collaboratively with surfacing crews to achieve program targets
• Ensure all work is completed in line with project specifications and quality standards
• Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance of equipment
• Support crew activities as required to maintain productivity
• Follow all safety procedures and actively contribute to Downer’s Zero Harm culture
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members on site

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery
• Experience operating a Profiler (preferred)
• Experience operating a Shuttle Buggy (highly regarded)
• Current HR Licence (highly regarded)
• Current General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Strong commitment to safety and Zero Harm principles
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Reliable, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
