The Department of Medicine at The Aga Khan University Hospital, comprises of independent sections of Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, , Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Neurology, and Pulmonary & Critical Care. The Department has over 70+ full-time Faculty with a strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate education and research. Residency Programmes are offered in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Adult Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine, Nephrology and Dermatology, as well as Fellowship Programmes in Clinical Neurophysiology & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism, Interventional Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Gastroenterology and ERCP.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Professor in the Section of Neurology, Department of Medicine.

Responsibilities:

You will have an independent consultant status and undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research and specified administrative activities.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:

You must have completed a structured postgraduate training program from a reputable institution and possess FCPS, FRCP, or American Board certification in Neurology, along with substantial postgraduate experience at an internationally recognized, high-quality facility.

For the position of Professor, you should have at least 5 years of experience at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent, along with additional fellowship or subspecialty training of at least 2 years in a relevant area.

In addition, you should have demonstrated scholarship either through research and publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals or by virtue of substantial contributions to education, and should have strong leadership, mentoring, clinical, and teaching skills.
