Arbolus is the next-generation customer diligence platform. We give private equity investors and consultants fast, differentiated customer insight on SaaS and technology companies, so they can move on deals with confidence.

Our edge is the world's largest database of attributable B2B customer reviews. Clients can use it on our platform or directly in their own systems and AI tools through the Arbolus API and Arbolus MCP. We pair it with Canopy, our market-first automated Q&A tool, and with a standard of client service that sets us apart, because great technology should always be backed by great people.

Since 2018, we've been rebuilding the traditional expert network for the speed of modern dealmaking. Today we're a venture-backed, London-headquartered scale-up with 170+ people across London, New York, Barcelona, Gurgaon and Costa Rica. We're on a mission to digitize human knowledge and make it instantly accessible and actionable.

The U.S. is the world's largest market for private equity and consulting, and it's our biggest growth opportunity. Costa Rica is at the heart of how we'll capture it. In October 2026 we opened our first dedicated office here, at Zona Franca Ultrapark II in Heredia, with around 30 people, and within two years we'll be 100+. From here, our team owns client projects end to end and is building our commercial engine for the U.S. market.

About the Role

From Costa Rica, we serve some of the most demanding clients in the world: U.S. private equity firms, investment funds, consultancies and corporates working against live deal clocks. On every project, we have to understand the client's needs, find and qualify the right experts, and get them on the phone fast.

As a Team Lead in Professional Services, you'll run a team of Associates and Senior Associates and own its results. You'll lead from the front on delivery, own relationships with key U.S. clients, and grow every account you touch, from more calls per project to more users active on our platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver with excellence

Delivery is the heart of this role. Every project you lead should be fast and precise, and should exceed what the client expects.

• Own the full project lifecycle: kick-off, scoping, planning, sourcing, presenting experts and the client feedback loop.
• Get the right experts in front of clients fast, and jump in hands-on with outreach and screening whenever it makes the difference.
• Maximize the impact of every project, with more qualified experts presented, selected and on the phone.
• Meet SLAs and KPIs on every project. Flag risks early and resolve escalations before they reach the client.
• Own project health reporting: status updates, risk flags and post-project retrospectives.

1. Build a high-performing team

• Set ambitious goals for your team, and make exceeding them the norm, not the exception.
• Let data drive your decisions. Track performance daily and weekly, act fast to close any gap, and celebrate every win.
• Hold the standard every day: ownership, accountability and discipline. Address underperformance directly and early.

1. Develop our people

• Coach Associates and Senior Associates on the job, with structured, data-backed feedback on their growth and progression.
• Build mental agility across your team. Teach them to read a brief fast, adapt when priorities shift, and solve problems in real time.
• Create a learning team. Share what works, learn from every project, and keep raising the skill level of everyone around you.
• Onboard new joiners and take part in hiring, selecting for drive and mental agility.
• Grow your best people into Arbolus's next generation of leads.
• Be an ambassador of the Arbolus culture: high performance, constant learning, collaboration across borders, and celebrating wins together.

1. Develop our clients

• Become a trusted partner to key U.S. clients and frequent users, and lead their retention and satisfaction.
• Grow every account: bring in more active users, win more projects, and reactivate dormant clients.
• Introduce clients to the full Arbolus offering, from expert calls and surveys to Canopy and the Customer Library.
• Work hand in hand with our commercial teams on trials, client meetings, user engagement and new opportunities.
• Share client feedback and market trends, know the competitive landscape, and articulate our value proposition with confidence.

1. Raise the bar with technology

• Use AI and the latest tools to improve delivery, team performance and commercial results.
• Be creative and agile in how we use technology. Test new ways of working, and adopt the ones that work.
• Turn what works into documented, repeatable best practices for the whole team.
• Feed insights to our product and business teams to improve the platform and our processes.

• Your team exceeds its goals, month after month. Hitting targets is the floor, not the finish line.

Requirements To Succeed In This Role

• C1 English or above, with the confidence to run delivery and sales conversations with U.S. clients by phone, video and in writing.
• Proven experience developing people, whether leading a small team or coaching and mentoring colleagues.
• Solid project management experience, ideally in research, consulting or client services operations for U.S. customers.
• Experience in sales, marketing or business development with U.S. clients, and the commercial instinct to spot and grow opportunities.
• A track record of working to objectives and exceeding them, with the numbers to show for it.
• A hands-on attitude and proven drive to go the extra mile when results are on the line.
• Mental agility: you learn fast, prioritize under pressure and keep multiple projects moving at once.
• Comfort working with data, AI and new tools.
• Excellent communication, including handling escalations and difficult conversations professionally with clients, colleagues and leadership.
