Job Description

FoodTec Solutions Inc, is a trailblazing point-of-sale solutions provider in the restaurant industry, headquartered in Needham, MA. POS Solutions, FoodTec's Premium Partner, is based in the city of Thessaloniki and is seeking a Professional Services Specialist for its Professional Services Team. The Professional Services team offers support on Menu changes and interface settings for our customers. Responsibilities involve on-boarding new restaurants onto our software, training restaurant employees on how to use our POS, advising store owners on how they can improve their business using technology, and troubleshooting software problems. Responsibilities:

As a member of the FoodTec Professional Services Team, you will serve as a primary point of contact for new and existing customers. You will be responsible for on-boarding restaurants, configuring their POS systems, delivering training, and providing consultative support to help improve operational performance through technology.

  • Establish and manage customer expectations by clearly communicating timelines, deliverables, and system capabilities to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Take full ownership of assigned tasks, driving issues through to resolution with urgency while maintaining high standards of quality and client communication.
  • Facilitate the discovery process for menu configuration by gathering business requirements and translating them into an optimized, user-friendly POS setup.
  • Lead on-boarding and ongoing training initiatives for new customers, delivering structured education on core system functionality and best practices.
  • Guide customers in implementing value-added features, including SMS/email marketing, online ordering, and other platform enhancements, to improve operational efficiency and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with department leadership and cross-functional team members to prioritize workloads, manage schedules, and ensure timely project completion.

Requirements:

  • Excellent use of the English language
  • Must be able to work under pressure and project deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Any restaurant experience would be a big plus

Bonus Points for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology
  • Experience with Point Of Sales (POS systems)
  • Experience in a help-desk environment
  • Marketing and Email Campaigns experience
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS
