DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

Professional Services Engineer are expected to have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, and deliver on tight deadlines.

To ensure success, a Professional Services Engineer must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits.

This role will report to Professional Services Manager or Country Engineering Manager

As the Professional Services Engineer you will:

• Provide technical support on assigned products and solutions to customers and partners.
• Deliver professional services including implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, technical consulting, and solution optimization.
• Understand customers’ IT, network, and security infrastructure to ensure successful deployment and operation of solutions.
• Design and implement solutions based on customer requirements and industry best practices.
• Perform lab testing, validation, and proof-of-concept (POC) activities to support deployment and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with vendor support teams for escalation and resolution when required.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, implementation reports, configuration guides, and knowledge base materials.
• Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to customers, partners, and internal teams following solution deployment.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and vendors to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Stay up to date with new product features, technologies, and industry trends to effectively support customers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The ideal Professional Services Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.
• Knowledge on Security Solution such as Firewall, EDR, Antivirus.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory.
• Knowledge on Cloud Solution is a plus.
• Ability to manage many tasks simultaneously.
• Good English Communication would be an advantage.
• Service minded with excellent communication and coordination skills, positive attitude, proactive and willing to learn.
• Able to work off-shift for Case Support/Troubleshooting.
