Job Description


We are looking for a technically skilled ProServe Engineer to support the development and delivery of customized software integrations and solutions for enterprise customers. This position plays a key role in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions while partnering closely with clients throughout implementation projects.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on development work with customer interaction and cross-functional collaboration.


Responsibilities

  • Create and enhance custom software solutions that support client operational needs and business workflows.

  • Develop and maintain integrations between systems using modern API frameworks and data exchange technologies.

  • Collaborate directly with customers to understand business processes, gather technical requirements, and recommend effective solutions.

  • Guide clients through implementation discussions, technical reviews, and solution demonstrations.

  • Act as a trusted technical resource during customer engagements, ensuring projects remain aligned with expectations and timelines.

  • Troubleshoot integration and application issues, identify root causes, and deliver timely resolutions.

  • Produce clear technical documentation for integrations, workflows, configurations, and system architecture.

  • Work closely with internal teams to support successful deployments and ongoing solution improvements.

  • Ensure development work follows established coding practices, quality standards, and performance expectations.

  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities to optimize existing solutions.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

  • At least 3 years of experience in software development, integrations, or related engineering work.

  • Strong experience developing applications and integrations using .NET technologies such as C# or VB.NET.

  • Working knowledge of cloud-based environments and services, including platforms such as Azure and AWS.

  • Experience building and supporting integrations using technologies such as RESTful services, SOAP, JSON, XML, and EDI transactions.

  • Familiarity with API testing and troubleshooting tools.

  • Experience working within collaborative project management and documentation platforms.

  • Ability to analyze technical challenges and translate business requirements into practical development solutions.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with both technical teams and customer stakeholders.

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a client-facing project environment.

  • Exposure to AI-assisted development or workflow automation tools is considered an asset.

  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation software, or customer implementation environments is preferred.
