As a Professional Referral Officer, you will be responsible for building, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with medical professionals, including doctors, clinics, and other hospitals, to generate referrals to our laboratory and hospital services. This role is crucial in expanding our patient base, increasing service utilization, and supporting the growth of our healthcare network.
Identify and engage with potential referral sources such as general practitioners, specialists, clinics, and hospitals.
Promote laboratory and hospital services to healthcare professionals through presentations, visits, and communications.
Develop referral strategies and outreach plans to grow the referral network and increase patient volume.
Maintain regular contact with existing referral partners to ensure satisfaction and continued collaboration.
Collaborate with the internal marketing and operations team to ensure referral processes are seamless and professional.
Monitor referral trends and provide regular reports to management on referral performance and feedback.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and ethical standards in promoting services.
Attend industry events, medical conferences, and seminars to build professional networks and represent the organization.
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Healthcare Management, Nursing, Public Relations, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in referral development, sales, or relationship management in healthcare, preferably in a lab or hospital setting.
Strong understanding of the healthcare system and referral process.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with medical personnel.
Target-oriented with strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Ability to work independently, travel frequently, and manage a flexible schedule.
