Your new role
As a Professional Medical Representative, you will contribute to achieving sales target of assigned area by efficient and effective promotion of Novo Nordisk products to health care professionals in hospitals, private clinics, and drugstores. The territory includes Butuan, Surigao and Tandag.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and public institutions by proactively identifying prospects, conducting persuasive presentations and demonstrations, following through to close deals and secure repeat business.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and territory plans informed by market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to penetrate target segments, grow product uptake, and expand market presence.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers through regular face-to-face visits, timely follow-up, and by delivering tailored clinical and commercial information that addresses their needs.
  • Provide product education, training, and technical support to healthcare professionals and institutional staff, while representing the company at medical conferences, seminars, and workshops to raise awareness and credibility.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, reimbursement environments, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks, and to inform positioning, pricing, and partnership strategies.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall team success by tracking performance metrics, reporting results, sharing best practices with colleagues, and implementing corrective actions to address performance gaps.
  • Implement innovation and continuous improvement by leveraging digital tools and CRM systems for more effective engagement, collaborating cross-functionally to streamline processes, and pursuing ongoing professional development to adapt sales approaches to evolving market needs.

Your skills & qualifications

We’re looking for a Professional Medical Representative who will appreciate working in a high-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll bring with you:

  • A college degree, preferably in a science-related field.
  • Proficiency in sales strategies and techniques, with the ability to effectively promote and sell pharmaceutical products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong persuasion and influencing abilities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet sales targets.
