What are your contributions to the team?

• Analyze the performance and reliability of automated manufacturing cells.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend automated and robotic solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare technical specifications, statements of work, and conduct the required engineering analyses.
• Provide technical support throughout the procurement and acquisition process for automated solutions.
• Develop and execute rigorous test plans to validate system performance and reliability.
• Provide technical support during the implementation of new systems and the continuous improvement of existing processes.
• Diagnose equipment failures and operational issues, and develop effective corrective actions and solutions.
• Leverage your industrial automation expertise to support maintenance teams in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Contribute to the evolution of integrated production lines by supporting the adoption of new Industry 4.0 technologies and concepts.

How to thrive in this role?

• You hold a college diploma (DEC) or a bachelor's degree in Automated Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant field.
• You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in industrial automation.
• You have knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), field instrumentation, human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and motion/control systems. Experience with robotics and machine vision is considered an asset.
• You also possess a foundational understanding of computer networks, structured programming languages (VBA, C#), and preferably databases (SQL).
• You have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and are able to read and interpret various types of technical drawings and schematics.
• You are able to learn and comply with regulations and standards related to the aerospace industry.
• You possess strong analytical skills and are capable of developing and implementing effective technical solutions.
• You have a basic understanding of project management and work effectively in a team environment.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
• You are passionate about achieving technological excellence.
• You demonstrate rigor, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality.
