A UX Design Internship at Avanade Portugal typically involves helping teams build user personas, wireframes, and prototypes, while supporting usability testing and client workshops. It focuses on translating high-level stakeholder requirements into intuitive user journeys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in digital product design and graphic production initiatives; streamlining processing and driving improved customer experiences;

• Front-end development: visual design, user interface design principles, layouts, graphic development, typography, color, and visual theory;

• User experience disciplines and user-centered design methodologies, such as UX architecture, research, usability, and content strategies;

• Creation of design-focused deliverables (compositions, style guides, graphic development, layouts);

• Information architecture, taxonomies, content structures, wireframes, and prototyping;

• You will work with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, Azure, Sketch, Balsamiq or InvisionApp, and W3C HTML/XHTML, CSS, and Corel.

Skills & experience

• A solid foundation in User-Centered Design (UCD) methods and digital product design processes.

• Familiarity with industry-standard design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.

• A portfolio demonstrating your design projects, UI/UX problem-solving skills, and thought process.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
