Short Description

As Professional, Engineering you would work in a team called "Processes, Applications and Data Analytics"

This role will primarily involve participation in major digital transformation projects for PLM and CAD applications but is not limited to these areas.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Analyze, identify, and propose engineering process improvements tailored to the requirements of internal and external clients

• Lead requirements analysis workshops

• Interact with various part of the organization to ensure consistency in proposed solutions

• Support engineering improvement initiatives aligned with the organization's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) strategy and in collaboration with the IT department

• Support users during and after the deployment of process and tool improvements

• Effectively manage team priorities and activities

• Participate in and prepare meetings with the development team to coordinate activities leading to the delivery of proposed improvements

• Provide continuous visibility into the progress of multiple projects conducted in parallel

• Develop and harmonize project timelines and ensure technical teams adhere to these timelines

• Lead activities to identify, manage, and mitigate risks, and prepare contingency plans

• Facilitate problem-solving and ensure engaging all stakeholders and achieving effective resolution

• Thrive in a flexible and hybrid work environment, where some tasks are performed remotely.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing company.
  • You have at least 8 years of relevant experience in engineering and/or IT.
  • You have project management skills, with demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • You have experience with CAD, PLM, ERP, and product change management principles.
  • You have experience collaborating with software architects/developers (an asset).
  • You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French, as well as the ability to train and/or mentor others.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • You possess strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as sound business acumen.
  • You are organized, self-motivated, and manage your time effectively.
  • You are familiar with aircraft development programs (an asset).
