What are your contributions to the team?

  • Support production operations on Bombardier multi-platform aircraft programs (Challenger 3500 / 650 and Global 5500 / 6500 / 7500).
  • Understand and resolve airframe and systems problems providing technical support by answering Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) raised by Quality.
  • Work in close cooperation with other disciplines such as Stress, Materials & Processes, Systems, Flight Science, Design, Methods, Quality and Operations to resolve NCR’s and achieve the company’s business objectives.
  • Participate in projects that aim to increase productivity, reduce waste and improve financial performance.
  • Work schedule is day shift.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a Bachelor of Engineering degree or College (3 year) technical diploma in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • You have a minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) environment with airframe structure repairs.
  • You have the desire and capability to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after a period of on-the-job training.
  • You are familiar with metallic and composite aircraft structures as well as aircraft system installation.
  • You have experience dispositioning nonconformances in aerospace.
  • You must be a team player with a collaborative approach.
  • You are flexible and comfortable working under pressure with a minimum of supervision.
  • You have sound technical judgement and a practical approach.
  • You have good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • You know how to browse Engineering mockups in Catia v5.
