A core focus of the role is to design, deliver, and continuously evolve technical training programs related to CVI products and to build and maintain a scalable, digital learning ecosystem that supports ongoing education, engagement, and professional development for external customers, in close partnership with the broader commercial organization.

  • Oversee the development of modular, role-based training curricula that support onboarding, continuous learning, and advanced product mastery.
  • Ensure training programs are aligned with CVI’s commercial priorities, regulatory requirements, and brand standards.

External Education & Digital Learning Ecosystem:

  • Build, evolve, and maintain a robust digital learning ecosystem for external customers, incorporating live programs, virtual events, on-demand learning, and self-directed educational pathways.
  • Own the strategy for CVI’s learning platforms, ensuring they are user-centered, data-informed, scalable, and aligned to customer needs and behaviors.
  • Lead the development of educational content that enables customers to deepen understanding of CVI products, technologies, and practice growth opportunities.
  • Establish metrics and evaluation frameworks to assess engagement, learning outcomes, and business impact across all educational touchpoints.
  • Ensure seamless integration between digital education, live experiences, and broader marketing and customer engagement initiatives.

Educational Strategy & Thought Leadership:

  • Partner with brand and customer marketing teams to develop coordinated educational plans that reinforce CVI’s product portfolio, innovation pipeline, and leadership in eye care.
  • Position CVI as a trusted educational and scientific authority by delivering programs grounded in clinical evidence, emerging science, and real-world application.
  • Serve as the Professional Affairs point of contact for U.S. scientific meeting strategy, including congress planning, educational programming, and speaker engagement.

External Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Support CVI’s external engagement with national optometric associations through compliant and impactful education and development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with CVI’s global marketing and public relations teams to ensure continuity of messaging, alignment of educational priorities, and cross-functional leverage of content and platforms.
  • Partner with compliance, legal, and medical affairs to ensure all educational activities meet regulatory, ethical, and industry standards.
