What You'll Do

  • Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client worksite safety policies and procedures.
  • Promote and model E2 Optics Core Values in all interactions and training activities.
  • Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs across the organization.
  • Deliver leadership development programs for emerging leaders, supervisors, managers, and high-potential employees.
  • Conduct professional development training on topics such as communication, accountability, feedback, performance management, coaching, teamwork, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Support delivery of HR, compliance, and workplace conduct training programs.
  • Build strong working relationships with field leaders, project managers, area managers, and regional leadership teams.
  • Partner with the Professional Development Manager to implement learning strategies and development initiatives.
  • Assist with training needs assessments and provide feedback regarding employee development opportunities.
  • Adapt facilitation methods to meet the needs of diverse audiences, learning styles, and experience levels.
  • Evaluate participant engagement, learning outcomes, and program effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback.
  • Support and manage the maintenance and administration of learning management systems and training records.
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of training materials, participant guides, facilitator resources, and learning activities.
  • Stay current on industry trends, adult learning practices, leadership development concepts, and facilitation techniques.
  • Serve as a positive ambassador for continuous learning and career development throughout the organization.

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Training, facilitation, coaching, or adult learning certifications are preferred.
  • 3+ years of professional training, facilitation, learning and development, workforce development, leadership development, or related experience.
  • Experience facilitating both virtual and in-person training programs.
  • Experience presenting to groups of varied sizes and organizational levels.
  • Experience within construction, low-voltage, telecommunications, skilled trades, manufacturing, energy, logistics, or similar operational environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with frontline employees, supervisors, and operational leaders preferred.

  • Outstanding facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and learner engagement techniques.
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics and create inclusive learning environments.
  • Ability to confidently facilitate discussions, activities, and workshops with participants at all organizational levels.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish credibility and build relationships with field and office employees.
  • Strong listening, coaching, and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight and confined spaces. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
