Job Description

Are you a highly organized, tech-savvy professional who loves keeping a team running smoothly?

At Logan Health, our Education Department is the heartbeat of organizational learning, supporting everything from nursing residency to workforce development. We are looking for a Professional Development Associate to serve as the ultimate, high-functioning departmental assistant. In this role, you will be the organizational glue for our team, coordinating day-to-day administrative operations, managing program data, and ensuring our educational initiatives happen without a hitch.

Whether you are booking rooms, tracking data for continuing medical education (CME/CNE), or managing the departmental calendar, you will have a direct impact on the learning and development of our healthcare heroes.

Our Mission Quality, compassionate care for all.

Our Vision Reimagine health care through connection, service and innovation.

Our Core Values Be Kind | Trust and Be Trusted | Work Together | Strive for Excellence.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment. You don't need to know every single nuance of healthcare education on day one—we are always happy to train the right person—but you do need to be a masterful organizer who can confidently take the reins.

  • You are tech-savvy: You are highly proficient in Office 365. You don't need a tutorial on how to save a document or navigate a shared drive, and you have the intuition to figure out new software (without accidentally deleting the team's file center!).

  • You are a communication pro: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly in small groups and interact professionally with a variety of audiences.

  • You are a master juggler: You can manage multiple projects at once, track tasks from start to finish, and prioritize your daily requests with ease.

  • You act with integrity: You handle sensitive information and departmental affairs with empathy, tact, and strict confidentiality.

What You Will Do

  • Keep the Department Moving: Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support. Draft complex correspondence, schedule classes, book rooms, and maintain the organizational education calendar.

  • Data & Compliance: Coordinate the systematic collection and reporting of accreditation data for vital programs, including Magnet, Transition-to-Practice, Workforce Development, and Competency Management.

  • Financial Stewardship: Assist the Department Director and Manager with monitoring budgets, planning for the fiscal year, and processing invoices.

  • Program Support: Assist with data collection and CMS reimbursement submissions for the Nurse Residency Program, while supporting broader professional development and CME/CNE activities.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree required.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a healthcare setting required.

  • Proven ability to function both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Strong critical thinking skills, high personal standards, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Excellent computer skills with a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
