In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, contributing to clear, consistent, and engaging communication across all channels.

Tasks

  • Streamline processes and deliver polished communication plans
  • Drive social media strategies and craft engaging posts
  • Tackle press releases, build media buzz, and shape public perception
  • Pull off event projects with multiple stakeholders

Requirements

Must-Have Hard Skills

  • Native/near-native English and German language proficiency - You’ll need to expertly navigate international communication and confidently write, proofread, and refine texts; “quite good English” won’t cut it here, unfortunately. German skills should be around the C1 level or higher.
  • At least three years of experience in a corporate communications role
  • Creating stunning visuals and videos that level up the company’s look – you have experience cutting videos or creating simple visuals, but also know how to coordinate design requests with external agencies
  • Writing high-stakes content (like speeches, press releases, social media posts, and articles) that hits the right tone
  • Managing projects with multiple stakeholders – keeping timelines in check, setting priorities and sticking to them, managing risks, and having an eagle eye for inconsistencies
  • Turning audience insights and content metrics into meaningful conclusions and recommendations

Must-Have Soft Skills

  • Sharing ideas effectively, adapting to your audience, and reading the room
  • Sharing ideas effectively and transparently, adapting to your audience, and reading the room
  • Being a hands-on team player, ready to collaborate with others and lend a hand when needed
  • Striving for excellence and integrity, taking full responsibility for your work from conceptualization to delivery and reporting
  • Tackling tough problems, figuring out what works, coming up with smart and sustainable solutions
  • Connecting with key stakeholders, building rapport, and keeping them engaged

Benefits

  • We're remote-first with flexible working hours – whether working on-site or logging in from your couch, the choice is yours. Thinking of jetting off for a bit? Hit us up in advance, and we’ll probably sort it out.
  • Being right in the sweet spot between a small tech shack and a big corporation, we keep it real with a down-to-earth attitude, solid business processes, and speedy decisions.
  • We’re all about that growth mindset. Whether it’s levelling up your skills or nabbing some new training, we’ve got your back.
  • We’re REALLY serious about open source. Keeping things transparent and accessible, supporting collaboration, and championing the community, it’s not just what we do – it’s who we are.
