This is a project pay position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions.
Ignite Peer Leaders support the implementation of the 5-day residential MSU Ignite program by facilitating activities, engaging with participants, and helping students navigate their transition to college. Peer Leaders guide both daytime and evening activities, supervise students in the residence halls, and help build a supportive and welcoming environment. Throughout the program, participants explore campus resources, student life, academic programs, and career opportunities. Students also work in teams on a creative project about navigating MSU, which they present at the end of the week. Peer Leaders help encourage participation and provide guidance throughout the project.
